Who we are

Hi there—we’re the team behind KidCraft101.com, a husband-and-wife duo with over 20 years each in the tech industry, and even more experience as parents. We're passionate about helping other families navigate the world of Minecraft in a safe, fun, and meaningful way.

We have two kids—one Gen Z young adult who’s already flown the coop (but still drops in to give us gaming tips and eat all the food in the house!), and one Gen Alpha child who’s right in the middle of the blocky, creative world that is Minecraft. In fact, it was our older child who nudged us into trying Minecraft again—this time as parents learning with our youngest.

We know what it's like to want your child to have screen time that’s positive, creative, and safe, while also feeling overwhelmed by a game you didn’t grow up playing. That’s why we built this site: to give other parents a head start on understanding Minecraft, setting it up safely, and even joining the fun.
